  1. Combine salt, cocoa and sweetener in a pan. Gradually add boiling water, stirring constantly until completely combined.
  2. While continuing to stir, simmer the mixture at medium heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the almond milk and heavy cream to your pan and continue to heat until hot, stirring often. Be sure not to overheat your cocoa, as it will scorch your milk. Enjoy!
Recipe Notes

Finish off your hot cocoa with a slightly sweetened, homemade whipped cream.

Additional flavor add-ons:
* 1 tsp coconut
* 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
